What is Reversible Hammer Crusher?

Reversible impact hammer crusher, also called reversible crusher, is a kind of equipment for crushing raw coal, gangue, coal slime, sludge, weathered rock, sandstone, lime clinker, clay and other high-humidity materials. This crushing machine is mainly suitable for fine crushing, like limestone, coal or other brittle materials below medium hardness in industrial fields, such as metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry and hydropower.


The biggest feature of the reversible hammer crusher is that the rotor can rotate forward and reverse. This design not only allows for perfect operation of wet materials, but also improves the utilization rate of the crusher hammer, resulting in good overall performance, high crushing ratio, high production capacity, and uniform product particle size. Compared with other crushers, the reversible hammer crusher has the following performance characteristics:


1. No screen bars, eliminating the problem of high material moisture and clogging.

2. Adjustable discharge port clearance ensures uniform discharge particle size, high output, and low energy consumption.

3. The rotor can rotate forward and reverse, ensuring uniform wear on the hammers and crushing plates, improving hammer utilization.

4. The crushing chamber is easily accessible, making it easy to replace wearing parts. Larger models utilize a hydraulic cylinder.

Scope of application
The reversible hammer crusher features large impact force and high efficiency of crushing, it is widely used in power, metallurgy, construction material, chemical industry etc. for fine crushing of coal and rock with hardness less than 150MPa.
The crusher is specially used for fine crushing of coal to produce ≤10mm or ≤3mm finished products. It has more outstanding advantages for dealing with damp and easy plugging materials.
 
Technical characters
PCKF series crusher was developed on the basis of German technology. It is applicable to brittle materials with medium hardness such as coal, small pieces of limestone, coal dirt, gypsum, alum etc.. The compressive strength of material shall be no more than 150Mpa, and there is no special requirement on surface moisture. This machine is specially used for coal preparation of fluidized bed boiler, coal water slurry preparation, coal liquefaction and coal gasification.
 
Work principle
The main shaft drives the rotator and hammers to impact coming material, the material bounces to impact plate for further crushing. The upper half section is impacting area, that is linearity sector, and the lower half is for particle size guarantee area, namely arc sector. The particle size is controlled by adjusting the clearance between hammer and liner plate. Fine particle that up to 3mm accounts for 90%. There is no dead zone for crushing in the arc sector, and the finished particle size ranges from 3mm to 10mm by adjustment.
