Spiral classifier working principle :
* Spiral classifier is mainly composed of transmission device, spiral body, groove body, lifting mechanism, lower support and ore discharge valve. The spiral classifier is widely used in the grinding circuit of beneficiation as the pre-classification and inspect classification machine, and also in the ore washing and desilting operation. It has advantage of simple structure, reliable running, easy operation and so on.
* The specific gravity of solids differs due to their different sizes, so does their sedimentation rates. Therefore, the light and fine particles float above the surface and overflow from the overflow edge. Then they flow into the next working procedure of ore dressing. The heavy and thick particles sink into the bottom of the water tank and become return sand which is transported by the spirals to the ore discharge mouth for discharge. The body seat is made from the channel steel while the body is welded by steel plate. The water inlet head and the shaft head of the spiral shaft are covered by raw iron, which is wear-resisting and durable. And the lifting device can be controlled both electronically and manually.
